Biography

Yuki Onishi is a doctoral student in robotics at the Department of Systems and Control Engineering, School of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. His advisor is Prof. Mitsuji Sampei.

He is also appointed as a Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Japan.

Yuki Onishi was born in 1998. He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in systems and control engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently a doctoral student at Tokyo Institute of Technology and a research fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He was a principal investigator of the strategic basic research program ACT-X, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) from 2020 to 2023 and a research staff at Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2021 to 2023. His research interests include humanoid robotics and nonlinear control theory.

He is a student member of the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ), the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE), and IEEE Robotics and and Automation Society (RAS).
